Year 9 Future Makers – An Overview
Year 9 Future Makers is the exciting program operating at Rutherglen High School. During the year students have the opportunity to participate in a great many new activities that they may not have had the opportunity to undertake previously.
This year students will complete the following subjects:

In addition to the above learning areas, Year 9 students have the opportunity to forge links with the School and community via a range of activities.
Some of these opportunities include:
Health days, Animal Nursery at the Rutherglen Winery Walkabout Sunday markets, New Skills camps, producing a magazine, Steer Handling at the Royal Melbourne Show, The Great Victorian Bike Ride, Team building activities and assisting our sister school on Atauro Island (Timor-Leste).
The Year 9 Camp: Will be held at the end of Term 1. Students will spend 2 weeks at the Bogong Outdoor Education Centre where they will be involved in a range of team-building and adventure activities. During this time, students will undertake a 5-day hike through the Victorian High Country.
